The
Homogenizing Process
Ovaco has three homogenizing furnaces (two 150,000 lb. and one 200,000
lb.) housed within its state-of-the-art facility. These furnaces
are equipped with the latest computer control consoles allowing
the operator to monitor the furnaces. At the end of each homogenizing
cycle, the aluminum logs are air quenched by using high velocity
fans to complete the cool down cycle. |
